Typical Remodeling Budgets
There are many variables that go into the cost of a project and the selection
of a contractor: quality of products, workmanship, service, guarantees
of work and so on. Plus, no two remodelers or projects are exactly the
same. That is why before we work with you we prepare a customized budget
recommendation for your approval.
With that said, we find it helpful to give our clients,
especially those remodeling for the first time, a general and realistic
idea of what different types of projects may cost at the quality level
of service, product and craftsmanship we provide.
- Attic Conversions $30,000 - $100,000
- Basement Conversions $55,000 - $150,000
- Half Baths $12,000 - $20,000
- Full Baths $20,000 - $65,000
- Master Bath Suites $35,000 - $95,000
- Kitchens $45,000 - $150,000
- Room conversions to home office, library or study
$30,000 - $100,000
- Room Additions $150,000 - $750,000
- Exercise Rooms $15,000 - $45,000
- Decks $10,000 - $70,000
- Porches $25,000 - $100,000

Please remember these are only typical budgets. Your
project may be higher or lower depending on your objectives and the current
condition of your home.
Handyman Pricing
To save our clients money, Elite Remodeling's exclusive handyman service
is billed to homeowners on a simple time and materials basis with
a four-hour
minimum (per person) service call. Instead of pricing based on assuming
each project will require a separate trip, our clients save money
by having us take
care of several projects during one trip. Therefore, you pay for more
time on projects and less time for travel. Our hourly fees are $95
per hour per person. (Please note that some projects require more than
one person and sometimes we will send more than one person so that
the work can be completed faster. Time spent picking up special supplies
for your project(s) will be included in our invoice.)
Here is why you save money,
time and hassles with Elite
Most of the time, you have more than one thing that needs maintenance
in your home. This usually means calling several types of companies, sometimes
several of each type, to find the companies that can help you.
For example, if you have a
leaky toilet or two, a dent in a wall that needs patching and painting,
a kitchen light fixture to install and your gutters cleaned, you could
call around, find and pay four contractors or make one call and have everything
taken care of at one time for less money than with the four contractors.
